TRAILING WITHOUT A PLAN
This past Fall, our family set out on a hike with no plan. The kind of hike that says, “Do you want to go this way or that way?” Hiking with 3 children of a young age….you might think we’re a bit daft( I could agree with you), but we knew our surroundings, getting lost was not a possibility and thankfully our children are used to Mom and Dad taking them on lengthy explorations.
There’s something about not having a plan. Allowing that habit to go on vacation, while ones own psyche chills and becomes the witness. Breathing in and breathing out, step by step, feeling a freedom unmatched by daily toils.
A friend, a companion, a confidant, a protector, a refuge, one who can bring continuous joy and so much more….ahhh yes, that would be Nature.
Having that feeling of being on a path to somewhere that brings that ‘raw awe’ into or back into your life. Young or wiser, it’s a path… a trail….a new shade of you worth discovering while on it. Aho Trailblazers!
