Saturday arrived with an early rise, grab and go! Trailulive Trailblazing W.O.M.E.N awaiting at the Shell Ridge Trailhead in Walnut Creek, Ca.
Review of map. Safety first and the fun began.
It was a gorgeous day with lovely views and plenty of chat. Into 2 miles we found our spot that would provide the atmosphere necessary for good times.
As the tapas were being prepared...our Trail Leader Raquel realized there's no bread. It's a tapas hike and the essential item is missing.
No harm, no foul. TUL W.O.M.E.N know how to roll with it.
The ladies enjoyed the delicious food regardless. We had the air, we had the scenery, we had the mood. With some wine in hand, enjoying the time to just be, the ladies ended the evening with full tummies, happy spirits and satisfied, Spanish- flavored palates.
